Your data
Privacy notice v2.3. This is the version stamped on your record, so you can always tell which text applied to you.
Who is responsible
stillalive studios GmbH, Innsbruck, Austria. For anything about your data, write to jobs@jobs.stillalive.games.
What we collect, and why
What you send us: your name, email address, country of residence, the documents you attach, any links you give us, and anything you write to us afterwards. We also record what happens in the process itself: which stage you reached, when, and the assessments of the people who spoke with you.
We process it to decide on your application, which is a pre-contractual measure at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you tick the talent-pool box, we keep your profile for future roles on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
Until the legally required period ends, counted from our decision. That period exists so we can answer an equal-treatment claim, and it differs by country:
- AT: 7 months
- DE: 6 months
- DK: 6 months
- FI: 6 months
- NL: 4 weeks
- Anywhere else: 7 months
When it ends, your name, contact details, documents and correspondence are deleted automatically. We keep an anonymous record that an application happened, which says nothing about who you are and lets us check our own hiring is fair.
Talent-pool consent lasts 24 months. We ask before it runs out; if you do not answer, the data is deleted.
If we hire you, your application documents become part of your employee record and are kept for as long as employment law requires. The interview assessments are deleted once you are settled in the job.
Who sees it
The recruiting team, the hiring manager for the role, and the colleagues who interview you. Interviewers see only the candidates they are meeting, and only their own assessment. Every time somebody opens your record, that is logged.
Your data is stored encrypted on Cloudflare infrastructure in the EU. We do not sell it, we do not use it to advertise to you, and no automated decision is made about you: a person decides, every time.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Reply to any email from us and say so; we do not require a form. You can also complain to the Austrian data protection authority (dsb.gv.at).
